The 2025 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift (TdFFaZ) kicked off yesterday (26 July), and as a fellow Pol, I’m particularly keen to follow defending champion Kasia Niewiadoma.
After a thrilling win in 2024, my eyes are definitely on the Polish powerhouse to see if she can repeat history!
With that in mind, a new podcast dedicated solely to women’s cycling has launched just in time for the TdFFaZ: QueenStage Women’s Cycling Podcast.
The podcast brings together 4 respected voices in the sport – Molly Hurford, Rosael Torres-Davis, Anne-Marije Rook and Betsy Welch – who break down each stage, offering in-depth insights into this year’s Tour.
The name “QueensStage” refers to the hardest, most prestigious stage of a multi-day race – a fitting metaphor for a podcast committed to elevating women’s racing with depth, analysis and energy.
“I’m stoked to see this project come to life,” says Ms Rook.
“The Tour de France Femmes is such an exciting and wonderful opportunity to celebrate women’s cycling and to connect fans, new and old, to the sport.
“I believe QueenStage fills a real gap: That of a well-produced women’s cycling podcast that stands on its own, created by professional storytellers who’ve been championing women’s cycling for decades.
“My hope is that we’ll offer listeners fresh insights, celebrate the incredible athletes in the sport, and spark a genuine interest in women’s cycling at the Tour and beyond.”
Daily episodes drop throughout the Tour.
The QueenStage Women’s Cycling Podcast is available wherever you listen to podcasts.
